"I know that's how it works in my world," Aidan said, giving a bit of a shrug. It was weird being in the dark with things like that, merely because realities could be different, which was just a ridiculous comment when you thought about it.

"Hey, I was just going slow to make sure that I didn't wear you out," Aidan teased back, squeezing her hand as he jogged to keep up with her. His vampire stamina and endurance was gone, but fortunately he ended up with the body of a very in shape 25 year old.

"And Sally is great. Funny, loyal, bit of a temper but not really in a bad way."
