"No, no, no, come on this is not happening," Sam said as he threw apart his room looking for a clean shirt. "Dude, how could you have taken all my laundry without telling me!"
"Hey, chill, I was doing you a solid, bro," Leo said from his computer. "Don't freak, take my clean shirt."
Sam glanced to where his roommate was pointing. His "clubbing" shirt was essentially a pirate shirt, worn because of some "peacocking" philosophy that said if you wore stupid stuff at clubs girls would notice and remember.
"You had better not be sabotaging me, dude," Sam said as he grabbed the shirt and pulled it on.
"Bro, would I do that?" Leo asked. "I mean, she's totally bangin' but you have like dibs, right?"
Sam didn't reply, mostly because it was complicated. He was a year older than Coraline and they were good friends and he did like her. But she was a great friend and he didn't want to screw that up by trying to be more.
Instead he just grabbed his bag and headed out to where Coraline and Bee were waiting. As she bounded over to him, he couldn't help but notice the way... certain parts bounced as she moved. Making sure he made eye contact with her, he hugged her back, making a face as she commented on his outfit.
"Leo did the laundry. Only he didn't dry it, this was the only clean shirt in the room. Let's just go to the beach so I can take it off."
As if on cue, Bee started up and blasted "Magic Carpet Ride" by Steppen Wolf. Yeah, that wasn't odd or anything. Sighing, he opened Coraline's door for her before sliding into the driver's seat.
"So, I have a surprise for our beach destination today."
