"Okay now is really, really not the time to distract me with thoughts of how sexy you think I am," Sam replied as he continued to run toward the guardhouse. As pleasant as a thought that really was, he kind of needed all his attention focused on not dying.
He leaned in and kissed her hard before tearing himself away from her and flagging down the guard at the booth. Whatever the guy made per hour, this was way above his pay grade to deal with.
"Hey," Sam shouted, waving his arms some more. "There's a gas leak and-"
The guard was staring and Sam open mouthed with terror in his eyes. Looking over his shoulder he saw Bee coming down the street, firing at several of the Decepticons that had gotten past him. So maybe a gas leak story wasn't going to explain it. Shoving past the guard, Sam grabbed his phone and dialed 911.
"Thank you for calling 911, what is your emergency?"
"Code 12, Decepticons at Moonlight Cove! Repeat, this is Sam Witwicky and we have Decepticons at Moonlight Cove!"
