When Coraline was a child she had thought university was supposed to be a boring affair, in drizzly England with really old crumbly buildings. What Coraline had found out though at eighteen was that college was a whole other thing. College had cute boys with American accents, it had sprawling campuses with exciting classes, warm weather with beaches, lots of places to explore and lots of new friends to get into trouble with.
Like Sam Witwicky; best friend, fellow dork, captain and general all round nice (hot) guy. It didn't matter that Sam didn't really seem to notice the fact that Coraline was a woman, Cora was just glad to spend time with him. And his totally cool car which Corline was convinced was alive from the few times she had been allowed to get a ride with Sam (once for thanksgiving, where she got to meet Sam's parents who were mental but lovely. And once to the airport where she cried for about an hour after she got on the plane.) Not that Sam ever let on the car was magical or alive or alien or something but Coraline had a knack with these things... she just knew it.
"You know I know, right? The whole magical car thing, I know." Coraline said casually, leaning back against the car. Boots pressed against the tires, Coraline leaned forward looking up towards the dorms where Sam was getting his stuff. Honestly Coraline was curious, an explorer and had known Sam for nearly a year now and even if she hadn't known him for practically a lifetime, she was still Coraline Jones, "So, that's how we're going to play it then, huh?"
Coraline looked at the silent car, smile turning into a grin before she patted the bonnet. Good car.
"Yeah, yeah I'll get you to spill eventually you wait and see Bumblebee." Coraline said, squinting in the early morning light at the familiar sight of her best friend. Waving wildly at Sam, Coraline picked up her bags and bounced on her toes as she waited for him. "Come on Witwicky, we haven't got all day. There are beaches to see, waves to surf, classes to not go to."
Coraline bounded over to Sam as he got near the car. Pouncing on him, Coraline wrapped her arms around Sam and hugged him tight. Coraline pulled back to look at him, grinning.
"Is that what you're wearing? Really? Are you sure? Because I think that Will Turner might want his outfit back, is that pirate chic? All you need now is guyliner and you are all set, do you want to borrow mine?" Coraline asked, reeling off a hundred questions as she grinned goofily at him. "I'm kidding you look... you know."
Hot.
She wasn't saying that. At all.

But it's all right now, in fact, it's a gas!
"Five miles, turn off, got it," he said, eyes locked on the road while they flew down the street at high speeds. Thankfully, the secluded area in general meant that there was very little traffic on the way.
"Okay, and right now? This is a no touching time. No touching because I sort of have to be focusing on driving and not getting us killed and not your hand on my leg and what it's doing in my pants. Not that things are happening in my pants."
Of course, things very much were happening in his pants, but the excitement of the chase and the excitement of Coraline were having a rather obvious effect on him. But that didn't mean it had to be encouraged.

Coraline turned her head at the last minute as she sat back down, yelping.
"Hard left!" Coraline said at the deathmachine things that had turned into cars, cars seriously, trying to sneak up along their left side
no subject
"Okay, can we please, please stop talking about how turned on you get me? Please? We can talk about it as much as you want later, I promise."
no subject
"Okay, we're definitely talking about it later just so you know and there is a- wow, those guys are big. Where those the little bitty bots? You really, really pissed them off didn't you?" Coraline asked watching the road behind them as a wave of much larger killer death robot machines gained speed and ground on them. "Do we have weapons? Bee, do you have weapons or do you have to be all robot-y, it's a word, to use them? The turn off should be coming up Sam."
Coraline pressed her hand against the side of the car as the turning approached, glancing behind them as they drove. "Bumblebee, are your friends near because I think we need back up. Lots of it."

Sam swerved off the road, heading into the forest that was on either side. While a Camaro wasn't exactly an off road vehicle, Bumblebee wasn't exactly a normal car, not by a long shot. Weaving in and out of the trees, the car bounced hard over the uneven terrain.
Just when Sam thought they were about to be overtaken, Bee played...
Liftoff in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...
And the Cavalry arrived. Larger than life, Optimus slammed to the ground next to them and began firing at the trailing Decepticons. Hitting the ground on either side of them, Ironside and Mudflap began blasting away as well.

Coraline very rarely swore, she swore for effect and she swore to prove a point but she didn't actually swear generally. Right now, she would have made a sailor blush the way she swore when Bee's back up arrived. She honestly could feel the vibrations through the car as the Big Guy landed slamming into the ground beside them.
"That's some back up," Coraline replied twisting in her seat so she could stare at Bee's friends. Coraline patted the panel beside her, stroking it softly. "Don't worry you're still my favourite magical sentient alien whatever car robot Bumblebee."
Coraline winced as one of the other guys took out one of the big evil death machines with a rather sickening metallic crunch.

After just a few seconds, it was all over except for the smoking craters but Sam still had a white knuckle grip on the steering wheel. In the heat of the moment he tended to flail and shout but once the adrenaline wore off he was always a bit shaken.
"Holy shit, that was not part of the surprise," he finally said, relaxing and falling back against the seat. "Fuck the Decepticons. Fuck, fuck fuck!"
This was supposed to be a fun, relaxing afternoon, not one where he and Coraline almost died.

Coraline didn't wait for a reply before unclicking her seatbelt and somehow managing to get herself free and onto Sam's lap in the space of about ten seconds. Pressing her hands against either side of his face, Coraline managed to get to kissing him in under fifteen. It was kind of funny how her heart raced when she kissed him, all fluttery and fast when she leaned in sliding her body against his.

"Sam, we have cleared the area of... Oh."
Optimus Prime probably didn't mean to be a cockblock, but having the leader of the Autobots peek into his window was a bit distracting.
no subject
"We should probably find out why they were trying to kill you, right? Apart from the I killed your leader thing," Coraline said sliding her hands down Sam's neck, kissing him again lightly before popping open the door and sliding off Sam's lap and out the car. She'd rather much be in the car but there were giant robots, giant robots! That didn't happen every day. "Cleared the area of decepticons? They're the evil ones, right? Do you know why they were after Sam, I'm thinking again because Sam is far too good a getaway driver for this to be a one off. Either that or he's been robbing banks."
no subject
"Greetings," Optimus said. "I am Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots. You must be Coraline. We have all heard much about you from Sam."
"Dude, not cool," Sam said, sliding out of the car after Coraline. "You don't out a guy that he talks about a girl a lot."
"My apologies, Sam. I did not mean to violate the bro code."
no subject
"Hi Optimus Prime it's nice to meet you. Wait, you taught them the bro code?" Coraline asked looking at Sam with that smile. Coraline wrapped her arms around herself, rubbing her bare arms up and down as she looked between Optimus and Sam. "How much talking are we talking about here? What sort of talking exactly?"
no subject
"He speaks nothing but the best of you," Optimus reassured her. "And I can see you are as beautiful and brave as he said."
Sam groaned and covered his face with his hands. He supposed it could have been worse and this could have happened before she knew that he was interested in her.
no subject
Coraline grinned at Sam, groaning and covering his face. Taking his hands, Coraline pulled them down before pressing a kiss to his lips soft and chaste. Coraline shivered, feeling the cold a little, as she stood there still in their swimwear. She was kind of regretting the quick escape now. Turning back to Optimus though, Coraline looked at him curiously even as she leaned against Sam for warmth.
"Do we need to be worried? Are they going to come after Sam again? I mean, we have classes we can't go back if they're going to be waiting and how did they find us?" Coraline asked wondering mostly outloud.
no subject
"Whoa, whoa," Sam said, waving his hands. "That stuff is all gone, it's not in my head anymore. No more tripping balls on alien magic. I'm clean. I haven't All Spark Shardes since that one time and all that stuff is gone."
Sam had not enjoyed that time at all and really wished that it would just stay behind him.
"The human brain is marvelous, it never truly forgets anything," Optimus explained. "They wish to attempt to force to to remember."

He also felt better holding Coraline against him. He liked how she fit right against him like that. He wasn't sure how her curves fit so well against his non-curves, but they did.
"And if I remember, I start tripping out. I don't want to remember, I want that gone. You need to find a place to keep us until this is all over. I don't care if we have to destroy every last Decepticon on Earth, I am sick and tired of these guys coming after me."
no subject
Coraline didn't like the idea of Sam tripping out at all. She disliked the idea of running from anything but she knew that was probably going to be the safer idea. It wasn't like she could throw a cat at a giant machine of death. Well, she could but it wasn't going to help anything.
"You're not going to remember, these guys are pretty damn awesome I know they'll look after us." Coraline said smiling at Sam before brushing a kiss against his cheek.
no subject
Sam wasn't sure if he was trying to convince himself or everyone else there, or maybe both of them. He really, really needed that to be true though because he didn't like not being in control of his own mind. At least, less control of it than he normally was because sometimes it liked to wander. Like now with how Coraline was kissing and touching him.
"I promise you Sam, that we will do all we can to help you. Both of you," Optimus said, which actually made him feel a lot better, especially knowing that Coraline would be looked after.
no subject
"So, what do we do then? Run? Now? Okay, before we do this then I'm going to need to change which means everyone's eyes have to be averted. Okay?" Coraline said simply, looking at the other autobots and making a turn around motion with her hand. "I mean, we can be on the run but I'm not doing it in a bikini it's really, really cold."
Coraline was quite hoping he hadn't noticed how cold yet.
no subject
When she mentioned being cold though, Sam realized that they were still half clothed. He didn't mind all that much but apparently Coraline thought it was a bit chilly.
"Oh, uh, right, clothes," he said, coughing a bit. "You should, I guess, uh, maybe put on some clothes. You know, with all the running and jumping and stuff we might do."
no subject
Coraline waited for all eyes to be faced away before she began to untie the bikini. The fact that Bumblebee had angled the mirrors on the door ever so slightly so Coraline could in fact be seen by Sam was completely unknown by her. "Can I borrow your hoody?" Coraline asked, bending down to reach for her bra and t-shirt.
no subject
"Uhhh, er, yeah, my nipple. Hoodie, I mean by hoodie. Yes, it's yours."
no subject
Wrapping her arms around his neck, Coraline pressed against Sam as she hugged him tight. Pausing, smiling a little mischieviously, Coraline pressed a kiss against his neck before asking in a rather quiet voice in his ear. "Nipple, Sam Witwicky?"
no subject
Or maybe it was the kiss against his neck a moment before that. Or the right shorts. Or just how she was pressed against him.
