Her hair is wet, damp mostly and twisted and probably tangled at the back. Her feet were bare, dangling from the edge of the bed. Her bandage was covered by the baggy t-shirt but even then she looked worn, tired. There were pools of- it was horrible. She couldn't- she could still smell it. Coraline looked down at Percy curiously as he groaned, gasping beneath her. Oh, he liked this. That was clear. Her side was beginning to hurt, well not beginning but making its presence known again. Making a soft protest of noise as he leaned back, she let her body follow his until she was pushing him down onto the bed where she could curl up on him.

"Yeah, that's okay." Coraline whispered smiling a little as he chuckled. Coraline looked at him a little incredulously. "Now?"

I must admit, I tensed up when Coraline said "Now?!" Now would kill me. And though I'd die happy, I wanted more of this. Like on the order of years. But seeing Coraline's expression match mine, I chuckled and held her close. "Not right now. Later. A little later."

I thought a moment, then added, "Though I did make you a promise, didn't I? For every time I go, you get to go twice, right?" I looked at her. "I could get to work, I suppose."

Pushing on his chest, she made a face as she squirmed a little on him. Wincing a little, she stretched before sliding off Percy and curling up against his side. It felt weird, not good but not bad now either just different. She felt different. She wondered if he felt like that too.

Pressing her cheek against his shoulder, she looked at him curiously and how he looked now. Looking up at him, she reached out to touch before letting her hands retreat away.

"That's right," Coraline said before looking at Percy and shaking her head. "Maybe later, I like it right here."

I smiled at her, and gave her a gentle kiss. "That's good," I said. "So do I."

"I feel... weird. Not weird. Just... I don't know," Coraline said making a face. She turned her head up so Percy could kiss her. "Different."
